For fixing the dam beams and additional protection
against bouyancy, the pressing tool is inserted in the groove located in the
frame once the dam beam is in place and evenly pressing all dam beams downwards
with the threaded spindle.
Ground Seal
Bonded, open-pored, acrylate-soaked PUR foam seal,
compensates extreme ground unevenness and renders a ground track obsolete. With
aluminium dam beams (see illustration), the ground seal is applied on a PE
clamping part.
Post Seal
The
dam beams and the end post are sealed together with a lip seal. The water
pressure additionally presses this seal onto the dam beams. This seal is
attached single or double-sided on the frame, depending on the application
case. (single or double sealing).
Special
designs of this seal are used for stainless steel dam beams that have to seal
on two sides.
These
seals are also available with KTW certificate for application in the drinking
water sector.
Dam Beam Seals
Aluminium Dam Beams
The
intermediate seals are located in between two dam beams each. They can be
easily exchanged without tools. The seals consist of wastewater-resistant EPDM.
Stainless Steel Dam Beams
The
intermediate seals are located in between two dam beams each. They are riveted
to the dam beam with a strip. The seals consist of wastewater-resistant EPDM.
These
seals are also available with KTW certificate for application in the drinking
water sector. Here the seal is also used as ground seal by using a ground
track.
